ADVOCACY   ADVOCATE: (v. ad v' kat: n. ad v' kit or ad ve kat) v. -cat ed, -cat ing , n. speak in favor of; recommend publicly: 1. person who pleads or argues for: an advocate of peace. Syn. n. 1. champion; supporter. The goal of an Advocate is help break down the barriers between the Deaf, Hard of Hearing and Hearing community by providing education and awareness. The purpose of this service is to improve the quality of Deaf and Hard of Hearing individuals' lives.
